Now, we know that not all users of The Study Trail are technical experts, so we've tried to make setup as easy as possible, but there are some things we just can't do. Namely setting up a custom subdomain requires manual steps on your side. Specifically we need to approve a certificate, prove you own the domain, and add CNAME DNS records.
Let's look at an example to explain the details. There is a test site, that you can try, at# which uses the below system. That url without the "https://" is the subdomain your users will go to. The email domain is the base domain name, or where we receive email (e.g.support@thestudytrail.com). So that playground website is setup with "playground.thestudytrail.com" as the subdomain, and "thstudytrail.com" as the email domain.
